I was a true believer at a company that made classroom materials that promote tolerance. I interacted with hundreds of educators and administrators across the country to deliver age appropriate materials to classrooms. It was my pleasure to represent the company at educators’ events nationwide.

This was a live-in estate management role for Krys’ esteemed mother-in-law. Everything from shopping to pet care, to vehicle maintenance. I was sorry to say goodbye.

This fun assignment had me producing exotic salsas and selling them at farmer’s markets, catering dinners in the homes of celebrities, and looking after her two adorable daughters.

I owned and operated a high-end estate-sitting business, in which I handled clients’ homes, pets, children, and household affairs in their absence.

 

1984 – 1986

Girl Friday at Kiva Kennels in Santa Fe, NM

Managed day-to-day operations of a boarding kennel for dogs, cats, and horses, including animal care, accounting, and customer interface. Owners also ran a sparkling water distribution company, for which I delivered water, sold and upsold products, and managed customer relations. On an as needed basis, I cared for two school aged boys, including meals, driving, and overnight care.

Live-In Caregiver for my Pop

I shared a home with my then 93 year old great-grandfather. Tasks included standard cooking, cleaning, and literally putting out fires (Pop dropped a lot of Camels into the couch).
